Security
  • Entries and exits are limited through the use of new biometric identification cards enabling entrance only to authorized personnel.
  • Hand and vehicle terminals are used within the port area for real time data entry.
  • The port is under continuous surveillance through 406 CCTV cameras with 360o rotation capability, placed at various points within the port area.
  • The container seal control application is active at our port as of 4th February 2013. With this application, full containers’ seal control is made, and the services are provided at international port operating quality standards ensuring international ship and port security.

 

Ahmet Ceylani - Security Senior Manager

Ahmet Ceylani

In 1989, Ahmet CEYLANİ graduated from the Naval War College with the rank of Lieutenant and served on various ships belonging to the Naval Forces Command until 2015 and then retired as a Unit Commander.
In 2015, Ahmet CEYLANİ retired voluntarily with the rank of Senior Colonel and started to work as MIP Security Manager - ISPS Specialist - PFSO in 2016. He led many innovative projects and worked for the technological infrastructure of MIP Security Management and was appointed as Senior Security Manager in 2024.

Fatih Erhan - Security Deputy Manager

Fatih Erhan

Graduated in 1985 from Naval High School and in 1989 from Naval War College with the rank of Lieutenant, Fatih ERHAN served as a branch and Section Chief on warships belonging to the Naval Forces and Coast Guard Command. Most recently, he served as the Coast Guard South Aegean Group Commander between 2011-2013 and then as the Coast Guard Mediterranean Region Commander between 2013-2018.
In 2018, after his voluntary retirement, he started to work as MIP Security Deputy Manager within MIP.
